XM Volume

When I added XM to my stock non-bose head unit I immediately noticed that the volume level is about half of the radio and CD sources. Does anyone know a way to correct this? Is there any way to boost the output level of the XM?

That's curious. On my 2004, the XM volume is about the same as the FM radio. But the CD volume is very low! I have to crank it up to >20 to listen to CDs, and then remember to turn it back down for XM else get blasted away.
