Making your own music DVD's

Im looking into burning my own music DVD's for the car. I dont want to use my PC because the quality of the videos seems very low plus its a pain to gather all the videos. I rather just record MTV. What ype of features do I need on the DVD burner to this. Im mainly interesting in just two things;

Recording straight from the TV

Being able to break each video into chapters on the DVD so I can skip thru them

Thanks

You should probably ask this question on a forum like www.cdfreaks.com.

You could get a DVD player/ recorder.

I got one last Christmas as a present and record some of the cooking shows. They come out decent quality. But will record straight through so when u watch it again you cannt hit forward and it will go to the next clip it would start over again.

I've never tried music videos before though.

good luck
