Cheap Sound Quality setup, I have the answer!
I have a friend that's helping me design a great audio system without spending big bucks. So far here are the components I'm considering.
Stock Head Unit
Yes it sounds crazy, but I really like the way the stock HU looks in our dash and don't want to fork out 400 for a dash kit and another 500 for a head unit.
Processor alto mobile drive 30

I just listen to my friends setup with a 200 deck and this $500 processor and man it sounded great. The processor has a serial input so you can plug your laptop in to tune your system.
Speakers
LPG 26fna tweeter $75 a pair
Focal Mids $240 a pair
Arc Audio 10 in D2 sub (from my old setup, same as the IDQ)
or maybe an edesigns 10a
Amps
Monitor 1 amp for the tweeters

Avionixx AXT 800.4 amp for mids and sub
http://www.avionixxusa.com/ep/products.htm
And thats it! Since I have a coupe, my space is very limited and I wanted to keep the system simple and affordable. All the equipment would cost me around 1200 for a competition system.
