JL 10w3 3ohm subwoofer...should it be run at 4ohms or 2ohms?

I accidently bought a 3/6ohm DVC 10w3 on accident. My amp is setup right now for a 2ohm load, or a 4 ohm. My question is, would it better to run it at 2ohms or 4 ohms? the pushes 300.1 at 2 ohms and 150.1 at 4ohms

i am assuming your sub is dual 6 from your description

i would not try to fiddle w/ a VC if i was you seeing that you dont rilly know wot resistance is :-P

you ll be fine running at 3 ohm you ll be gettin ~ 225w

Sadly, you sub will only get ~220W to that sub since it can only be wired to 3 ohms. I hate JL subs that have these nonstandard resistances.
