I’ve searched and found tons of wiring diagrams, but I still can’t find the best place to tap illum power for this gauge project.

I just got two STRI gauges and I’m looking to tap an illumination wire that’s controlled by the dimmer (the cig and ashtray don’t dim) any help would be greatly appreciated. I know the radio has an Illum wire, but I can’t use this one.

i used the dash illuminator for REM its behind the radio not sure if its the same one you speak of
