I just installed a tvandnav2go unit as well as a pac aai nis2,ps2slim,rear view camera and ipod . The problem im having is that the camera wont display picture . When the car is in reverse the display does switch but just blank screen . The ps2 and ipod work fine . Nows heres the weird thing . if i take the video plug out of input 1(ps2) and put it in input 2(rear view input)on the nav2go box i dont get picture either . Now i tried puttin the camera on input 1 that i know works and again no picture . put the ps2 in input 1 again ,,,pictures there . The camera is getting switch 12v and ground . Is it the camera or the nav box ???

 

Try putting the ps2 on input2 and putting your car in reverse. The box should only switch to input 2 when in reverse right?

Can you hook up your camera to a tv or monitor? Use the same switched 12v and run the rca to a tv/monitor.

That will determine if your camera is working properly. If it is, then you know it's the tvnav box.

 

tried it on a portable dvd player input today and no picture .It must be a defective cam .Thanks
