How Many Fuse Boxes?
Just wondering how many fuse boxes do we have in our G's ? ![Confused2](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/confused2.gif)
I know of one beside the dead pedal on the driver side..
Is there two fuse boxes under the hood additionally..
I have heard of a box 'behind' the battery but at first look I didn't see anything like that..
Is this fuse box on all model G's?

I think there are only 2.
The IPDM E/R located near the driver's dead pedal and the Fuse Box Junction Box (J/B) located behind the battery.

Does anyone here know where the fuse for the headlights and rear tail lights are. I accidently blew a fuse that took out both my heads and rear lights. My reverse, break lights and turn signals are working. I checked both fuse boxes and the labels do not clearly identify these fuses or fuse?

They vary based on the PACKAGE for the vehicle, there will be pins installed in the ones for sunroof and such.
If you get the wrong one you can take it apart and repin, usually just takes a small precision flat screwdriver to install pins. You can use your existing Fuse Block - J/B as a donor for pins.
I've never seen a faulty FB-J/B though are you SURE that's the problem? You can usually fix anything wrong with the fuse block just by disassembling it and tracing out circuits, solder if necessary, repin if necessary.

It may be a pin issue then because I need to use a flat head screw driver to flex the fuse box if it does not come on after turning on the car. Specifically, its the following items that initially do turn on: gauge, radio, air system which all feed off that the box.
It's such an awkward location of the car to try troubleshooting the issue. Further suggestions now knowing more of what I am dealing with?

Exactly what year and what chassis are you working on?
EDIT: Losing that many systems all at once usually means you cooked one of the main fuses in the fusible link holder. It bolts directly to the battery and has about a dozen large fuses that send power off to various parts of the fuse blocks.

Start with fusible link holder slot "D", it's a 60 amp, pretty sure that one does all your driver information stuff. Check them all though, disconnect the battery, remove each fuse from the fusible link and inspect for damage. Sometimes they cook on the BACK of the fuse and damage the holder. The holder is an off the shelf item at almost every auto parts house.
