Aftermarket touchscreen using stock

Hi, I got got my 04 coupe w/out navi. I was wondering if there was a way I could install a aftermarket touchscreen navi/dvd combo in the empty area where the stock navi is supposed to be. Has anyone tried it before? I know you can do the DD and put in a aftermarket touchscreen but I dont wanna mess with the stock BOSE system.

i'm also curious...i don't see the reason of messing with the bose system since everything is clean and stock looking. the empty area where the navi would go is the perfect place.

eckoultd87 on the forums has a carputer installed in his G.
Previous owner had it installed. He says it's kind of useless. Doesn't really use it often... especially since it's a safety hazard while driving.
Just uses it when parked. Even so, he doesn't really think it's of much use and is looking for someone local who wants to buy.
