Gauge sensor wire extension question

I have two after market oil pressure and temp gauges, I need to extend the wire from the sensors 3 feet (max), does anyone see a problem with this assuming I use the same type of wire?

Shouldn't be any problem with that. Use the same gauge wire and I would solder and tape or shrink wrap instead of butt connectors.
