Could somebody tell me...

I'm running a Bose on a 03 sedan, I changed the front components
to Polks Momo 6500, they are 4 ohms, did I make a mistake by
not buying 2 ohms speakers, one audio guy was surprised they even worked.
I know you have to turn up the volume a bit more but would sound quality
be better with 2 ohms, and when I asked the guy about installing an AMP
he said forget, that I should rip out everything..salemanship I guess...

You can install an amp and still keep your bose headunit. You can take the signal before the bose amp and use that to give a signal to an amp.

yeah i m suprised they work too haha

funny guy, the quality will be cleaner @ 4ohm @ the same volume/voltage w/e you wanna call it, but with lower SPL obviously.

most shop guys are knuckleheads... they'll try to con you into things. i think theres a sticky on how to add an amp and sub to your bose

as for "Could somebody tell me..." i missed the question sorry

4-ohm is fine. SNR should be better with them.

Since the high ends shops just want to rip everything out I went
by a Circuit City and asked them if they could install my Infinity 2
channel AMP to run the front components and they said sure, about a
2 hour job. Will this be a good idea would it be a good improvement...

An aftermarket amp from a good brand is always going to be better than stock no matter how high-end your stock stuff is.
