XM Cutting out!!!!

I know there is an old post about this, but I was wondering if anyone had any new info. Every now and then, my XM cuts out and will not work until I turn the car off and then back on again. Is there a fix for this?

There are some folks over on FA forum who says that Infiniti/Clarion have released a new software update. See here.

Re: XM Cutting out!!!!

I have had the same problem on 4 different OEM XM radios installed by the dealer in the last 12 weeks. They all did it, including the one installed yesterday. The dealer says he had one other customer with a similar problem and changing the antenna worked. He thinks. I am about ready to have it taken out and ask for my money back.

Re: XM Cutting out!!!!

I bought my coupe in January this year and had the XM added by the dealer as part of the deal. I have the problem described on an intermittant basis, and so far only within 1/2 mile from my farm, where no microwave towers or other visible high powered devices are located. The dealership acted dumb on the subject, like they had never had the complaint. I have another xm receiver in another car that has never had the symptom.
