05-06 nav install?

ok guys, i am kinda new to the forum, i am about to buy a 05 or 06 g shortly once i find a good deal on it, but i am confused, i currently have a pioneer avicD3 :

I want to install it in my future g35, but im confused.... im reading about some JDM dd kits, can anyone explain, are there no trim kits i can buy to fit this in the g35? i thought it was already double din

Yeah, you'll need that for a clean install. You can solder the dual btn and make it work on the new one.

what about wiring harnesses? are they hard to find too?

that's the easiest to find. Get the metra harness from ebay.

is there a way to get the bluetooth and steering wheel controls to work with the pioneer avic d3 in dash navigation?

A PAC SWI-PS steering wheel interface will allow you to keep your steering wheel controls.

As for Blurtooth, just buy the Pioneer BT module for the D3.

I have an G 2005 Sedan Sports, and I want to know when I install my new Pioneer Navigation - Do I need a converter or a transition connector from the head unit to the stock Bose speakers????

^+1 was just gunna ask that. some sites claim you do, some dont. unsure here, anyone know?

Which Pioneer unit? Is it a stand alone navigation unit? If so, what audio outputs does it have?

If it is a Pioneer DD HU with navigation, there are a lot of threads about integrating it into the stock system.

its a pioneer HD DD, most likely the AVIC-F900BT. I have been doing alot of reading through threads and forums, but no luck at the moment...got any links?
