Installed a double din head unit this weekend Valor 660w. It came with Ipod cable and controls through the head unit. I am having issues getting the ipod to connect to the unit properly. Whenever I plug the cable in it says accessory attatched on the ipod but on the radio continuously says "connecting". I have however gotten the ipod to play for a few short seconds then the ipod will then go back to saying acessory attached and the music stops. Now the only thing I can think of is that I am using an ipod touch. Would that make a difference. Anyone have any issues as I am?

 

Try a different iPod. See if that works.
