Hissing on CD input using USA SPEC Ipod adapter

Hi, I just had an upgrade put in my G35 which included Infinity speakers all around and a 4 channel amp (keeping the BOSE Headunit). I also had the USA Spec Ipod adapter installed as well.

Everything sounds great (much better than the BLOSE). But when using the CD input which includes both the Ipod setting and the dashboard CD changer setting, there is a noticable hissing sound coming from the speakers.

Since it's happening to both the IPOD and the CD Changer, I'm not thinking it's an IPOD problem, but maybe it's a USA Spec Ipod adapter problem.

Has anyone else with the USA Spec adapter experienced this problem?

I guess I'm the only one who has experienced this issue?

You are not alone!

Hello dougpr,

No, you are not alone. I have not only a hissing sound, but I have humming sound plus little bit of hissing. I drive BMW 528i and registered here because saw your post.

May be someone can help us to find out what is going on with these USA Spec Adapters?
