Speaker Problems Dont know if its one thing or another

So i bought a used 2003 g35 recently....

hi all

anyways I put in a burned cd and it sounds like crap. The sound compares to somewhere in between a cd quality and radio. It sounds muffled. When i played the same cd on my friends lexus es the sound was very crisp.

I dont have rattling at all or doesnt sound like a blown speaker.

I have the Bose option in the car. Any suggestions?

replace the Bose and the HU, grubbsperformance.com is one site I know of that has the dashkit and ac controls along with a double din headunit, I believe there are more vendors on here that may also

nissan's bose sucks, its a clarion headunit, trust me, you should just change all the components, there is no real fighting it

There's a saying: no high nor lows, it must be Bose.

Try other CDs and see what they sound like. Maybe the Bose HU just doesn't like that CD.

^^
Only the speakers are Blose. The HU is actually a Clarion unit as it was already pointed out.

The modders here are all aware of the quality issues with the Bose units in the Gs. The speakers are of substandard quality and the amp is underpowered. Read some of the sticky posts on this forum on how to upgrade your Blose.

Good Luck!!!

You will need to replace the Bose system speakers with 2 ohm speakers.
