Infinity Kappa 60.7CS components

I have a 05 non bose, it seems like Infinity's are the way to go...I plan to keep HU and rears. Are the Infinity Kappa 60.7CS components what are best for fronts? I hear this is what people with bose use but not sure for me since mine is non bose.

You can use 4 ohm speakers for the non-Bose system.

4 is not better than 2, and 2 is not better than 4. It all depends on your amp. If your amp is stable enough to power speakers at 2 ohms, then its safe... Generally i've been advised not to power 2 ohm speakers off of a factory or aftermarket head unit unless it is specifically designed to handle this load. I bought these exact speakers for a previous car, but I ended up selling them because I didn't want to buy and wire another amplifier into my car.

With the stock non-Bose HU, 4 ohm speakers would be the better choice.

i bought Kappa Perfect 6.1's a few weeks ago along with Kappa's for the sides and rear as well. Have yet to install them.

Offhand I can't think of the model of the 4-channel Alpine amp that will be powering them, but it has more than enough power.

Trying to find time this weekend to install. Will let you know how it performs.
