Pioneer Avic-F series are now here...
Sorry late to this thread but, I just purchased the F700BT. I see on the connections it wants to connect to parking break, and a few other things I normally haven't seen before (at least in normal radios non navi).
Is there any DIY to hook this up to a 2003 Sedan? I currently have the Bose non navi system. Any help would be great!
Thanks guys.

Im looking at this unit, have heard about the problems and have heard about the firmware update. Anyone have a review they could write up on it?
Anyone utilizing the Composite inputs? I specifically want to know if you can use the composite inputs while playing music off of a CD or the SD card.

I have the f900bt installed. Check www.avic411.com for everything you need on the unit. I actually like it overall. I installed the firmware update and it helped a bunch of the issues. The boot time is still over a minute, but I got used to it. I'm using the composite input in the back for my ipod. You have to choose one or the other. u can't play music off a cd/sd and play off the composite at the same time. Hope that helps.
where can you get the f900bt for a good price? i am thinkin about ordering one. Also is there a 3way built-in crossover in this headunit? I really need that since i am running my components w/o the passive crossovers (I have them wired directly to my amp). So I need the headunit to be able to do 3way xover.
