I have a 2005 G35x. I pulled out of work yesterday...and my ABS, VDC off, AWD and SLIP lights light up. They came back on after i left the car parked for the weekend. I unhooked the battery for 10 minutes and hooked it back up...still on. what could cause this? it seems like a plug may be unplugged somewhere?? fuse? The AWD is no longer working, not sure about the ABS or traction control. I can see how all these things are related to one another but for all the lights to come on is weird...the infiniti dealership is 2 hours away so I would rather not go if it was an easy fix. thanks

 

Check your brake fluid.

 

i thought of that but you would think it would go off after i reset the battery and come back on after i drove for a bit. I will check that in the morning tho.

pads are fine, they also arent connected to any monitoring system nor the traction control or the AWD....

 

Is the car stock? If not, what mods have you done? Is the Service Engine Soon light on?

The brake pads are part of the brake system, so if the pads are worn, the fluid will be low. But that would usually only trip the brake light.

If you disconnect the battery and reset the ECM, if the lights come back on, there is a reoccurring problem.

 

car is stock cept for 20" wheels that were fine for over 3 months before this happened. how long does it take to reset the ECM with the battery disconnected?
