Custom LCD screen

I was looking at options for putting a screen in my car. I want to hide it in the stock navigation area. I looked at the unit they have on MP3car.com but it says it only for years thru 2004. Whats the difference? I also found a motorized option on this web site http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/INF6569.aspx This is what I'm looking for but it seems like the screen in the unit isn't of very good quality. What do you guys think? Does anyone know of anyother units out there? Ideas?

That unit looks like it sits pretty flush and factory-looking. The specs on the screen itself aren't that great though. Those are the only two, plug and play options I've seen. Other than that you'd have to get something custom built.

that housing looks good.

hopefully it sells well and they build a higher resolution 7" touch screen version for the same price or cheaper in the future

I've heard of a couple people on the forums do the one from that link...

Most people will just switch out the factory radio for a DD navi conversion.

Way more options for future upgrades with a DD switch.

Was looking at the mp3car.com unit but this is motorized which I like. Gives it a move OEM feel i think. I can live with the 6.5" screen. My DD will have 7" This would be for the carPC and backup camera (guidance lines...if they work good.)

NTSC is the standard for TV's in the US i think. PAL is the standard in EUR. Might have that backwards.

Hmmm does that mean they're not RCA's or Composite inputs?
