I have a 2006 G35x Sedan. I'm waiting on my JDM kit to come in and i'm trying to get all my parts together

I'm doing a single DIN and i'm going to need a pocket. The universal nissan pockets stick out 1/8 inch from what i've read. I was wondering if there is a JDM pocket for the 2006 sedan, and if so, where i might get it?

if not, i'm assuming the regular Nissan pocket is going to be the only other way to go?

The universal Nissan dash pocket doesn't stick out ~1/8" but rather there is a ~1/8" gap between the top of the dash pocket and the bottom of your SD HU which is visably noticable. You could fashion a piece of black foam, rubber or plastic to fill that gap in.

There is a JDM dash pocket which costed about $9 back in 2004. I don't think there is any vendor in the states that orders this from Nissan Japan and stocks them. Unless you were doing a complete order of the dash finisher, AC controller and the dash pocket from Japan, it probably wouldn't be economically logical to just order a JDM dash pocket.

I went to walmart and got a nissan dash kit, made the plastic mounts stay mounted to the metal radio mount and slid the pocket in. I will take pics later to show you. It doesn't look bad but I really wish I had a double din and not have waisted money on a single
