Best Place to install HD Radio unit?

I just got a Kenwood DNX 8120 and the Kenwood KTC HR200. The HR200 will not fit in the area behind the stereo. where do you think is a good place to hide this thing, it only comes with a few feet of cable, so it has to be near the head unit.

Also, wheres a good grounding spot around the stereo, other than the wired ground the stereo cables connect to?

Thanks
Eric

How big is the unit? There's quite a bit of room between the console and the firewall on the passenger side.

For grounds there are a few screws on the left and right of the headunit that work well. I use the one behind the panel for the pax cig lighter.

That might be a little big for the space behind the console but it's worth a shot. You're limited because of the length of wire from it. If you had more wire you could go for the passenger kick panel. Up under the dash on the passenger side might work also because the unit is so thin.

It's not the actual ground for the cig lighter. There's a metal screw that goes to the metal frame of the console right next to the cig lighter.

There are a lot of places to hide it around the passenger footwell.
