Installed a sub, FM reception went south

All,

I installed a sub in my trunk about a month ago and since then my FM reception has gone to hell. I live in the Chicago area and used to get 92.3FM in with no fuzz. Now it's mostly white niose. I had the install show look at the job again and there was no loose wiring and no open connections. In fact, I couldn't even find where the antenna wires go into the rear deck into the glass. I'm guessing this is an issue with the FCC where audio devices have to allow for interferance and my sub amp is generating a field that's interfering with the FM signal. Has anyone else had this issue? What dod you do to fix it? The only thing I noticed whe I open the rear underdeck is a wire with a connector with two pins in it and nothing connected to it. I think this might be the SAT signal wires but I don't have SAT radio.

Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly! (escpecially if you know where the FM antenna wires run!!!)

I would check the antenna, and if you don't find anything check the antenna again!

Hmm, it sounds like your antenna amplifier got disconnected. If you have a 2 pin connector that is disconnected, it is NOT the satelite connector. The SAT connector is 16 pins.

The antenna amplifier does have a 2 pin connector that is supposed to connect to it.

Unfortunately, I don't know where that amplifier is located.

BTW, all of this information is based on the service manual for my 04.5 Coupe.

Any Idea where the antenna connection to the rear glass is? I couldn't find it worth shizza! It must be totally hidden!
