I'm hearing different reports. Since on saturday I'm getting my car audio (amp and speakers) installed, I bought some rear fill 5.25 pioneer's because I read somewhere they used that size, now I read it uses 6.5?!? Which one is it? Premium Bose Audio too.

If you really want to use them, you can probably get an adapter plate to make them fit.

 

I thought the rear doors had 5.25s with bose premium and if you remove the brace it fits a full 6.5 speaker??

Until I break apart the back of my car, I have heard that the coupes have 6.5's in the front and back and then 6x9's in the rear deck. I believe the sedans have 6.5's in the front, 5.25's in the rear doors, and one 8" sub in the rear deck. Both cars have 2 tweeters in the mirror area.

Perhaps maybe people are getting confused because of the coupe/sedan miscommunication???

Can anyone verify this information either correct or incorrect?

I'm also curious about this. What about for non-Bose Sedans, I just ordered two sets of 6.5" components.

 

I can confirm that all speakers in my non/bose sedan are 6.5's. When I took them out they were the exact same speaker front and back with only difference being the tweeter in the front on the make-shift crossover.
