PAC SWI-PS install question.

So I downloaded the install instructions for the PAC SWI-PS interface, which I will be installing over the weekend.

Here is a link to the instructions: http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogram...ehicles&ID=211

It states: "Read only note # 1 in the below chart. If it is blank then skip to next step. The other notes in the chart do not apply to your vehicle. Connect a 150 ohm resistor to pin 23 (Green). Connect a 47 ohm resistor to pin 22 (Red). Connect remaining ends of resistor to the INTERFACE's White wire. Connect pin 25 (Yellow) to chassis ground."

Now, I found some posts where people noted that their instructions indicated NOT to use resistors.

A little help? This if for an 03 sedan.

To my knowledge, the resistors are required. I used them in my installations. I found it easiest to find the 150 and 478 ohm resistors using a multimeter.

I also used them on my 03 Sedan and can verify that everything worked properly in doing so.

You DID use the resistors, correct?

CORRECTION TO MY ORIGINAL POST! I AM USING THE PAC SWI-PS, NOT THE PSI-X

Yes I am using the resistors, and you need to use them regardless if it's a SWI-X or SWI-PS. The install instructions are the same.

The instructions on PAC's website say the following:

Read only note # 1 in the below chart. Connect pin 25 (Yellow) to chassis ground.
