Very nice but you might want to give 56k a warning on that link. 25mb download. No problem here, but others might get a bit stuck.

Anyone still using dialup deserves the punishment

Charcoal, Gun Metal and Pewter? I assume the charcoal one is closest to black. Why have we only seen this now and where can I get one?!

Wow, didn't know they made/had them for our cars. Now all I need to get is the A/C controls from Riverside!

I just called Scosche; the guy said that they are delayed (the catalog says they would have been shipping in May) until the fall at least. He really had no idea when they would be available.

From the picture it doesn't look like it comes with the AC controller but it has to come with something, even if it's like the Metra controller. They can't expect to have people buy a separate AC controller (JDM) apart from buying this as well.

Hopefully if enough people request these kits they will put them into production sooner than later.

I didn't ask. He said that they weren't available so I asked him when they would be. He said they had been delayed at least 3 months (3 months from May or 3 months from now, I don't know) so I asked if they would be available in the fall. He said that's when they expected them. He wasn't very helpful but maybe someone else wants to give them a call and get some better info.

I hope that their picture of the DD finisher is not accurate. If you look closely at pg. 49, it says that it is for 2003-04 models but the slot for the AC controller is one continuous opening and not slotted buttons like the 03-04 AC controller. I'm wondering if the final product will fit the JDM AC controller or it will have its own integrated AC controller like the Metra Kit.

This is the AD picture:
<a href="http://imageshack.us"><img src="http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/8143/aduv5.jpg" border="0" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/></a><br/><a href="http://g.imageshack.us/g.php?h=247&i=aduv5.jpg"><img src="http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/8143/aduv5.740a365291.jpg" border="0"></a>

This is how my 2004 AC controller slots look like:
<a href="http://imageshack.us"><img src="http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/3792/dsc00252vb4.jpg" border="0" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/></a><br/><a href="http://g.imageshack.us/g.php?h=365&i=dsc00252vb4.jpg"><img src="http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/3792/dsc00252vb4.f344cb5f98.jpg" border="0"></a>

before ordering this, make sure they clarify the AC controller issue. Otherwise, this will be a great option instead of having to getting it shipped from Nissan Japan. Great find!

Good catch Doc, mine is the same way.

I agree with Mass on the 56k thing. Why do people still feel they need to put a comment about that? Let the 3 people still using dialup figure it out for themselves.

too funny....sad thing is that I live out in the country here in Ohio where I don't have broadband access here at my house. I am sadly half a mile past the limit of the DSL service. But I do have a Sprint Wireless Network card that I run through a wireless router which gives me decent internet. I could get Satellite but why would I want to pay $69/month for DSL download but dial-up upload???

I've had Battlefield 2, 2142, COD4 multiplayer withdrawl b/c of this problem so I have to play online FPS at work...hehe don't tell my IT dept....lol

They made the opening that way because you have to buy a separate A/C controller anyway, right? Might as well just keep it to one part if you have to buy a piece.

They will come with AC controls and yes they are delayed. We want to make sure that the part works flawlessly before anything is released. Trust me, you will know as soon as they are available, and they will be MUCH better looking than the current aftermarket option.

The current AC controller available from Nissan / Infiniti will not fit that space. It needs to have individual openings for individual buttons.
