Help Running Front Speaker Wires!!

Hey guys,

So Im currently installing a whole new system and need some advice on running the front speaker wires. I would have used the existing wires but I'm feeding the fronts with 150 watts per side so I'm beefing up the wire. Im having a hard time running the wires throught the existing rubber boots. Anyone out there have any tips or tricks to feed these wires easier???? Thank you so much for any info!!

Also......I know removing the doors would make it easier but I really dont want to realign the doors when putting them back on...sometimes they never mount back on like they used to...

Here's what I did. There is a small circular grommet about 2 inches below the big main grommet. It's about the size of a quarter. Pop that open and run it through that. Then I cut a slit into the big main grommet in the driver door and slide the speaker wire through that then seal it with some silicon. If u need more help I can take pictures of it for you when I get home from work. This wasn't my idea. I would give credit but forgot who suggest it. I saw it in one of the old threads buried deep somewhere. Good luck.

Thanks Astonv12!! Great tip...found the grommet and it will be so much easier than running it through the stock rubber boot!
