Dead serious, and it is the dumbest thing I think Apple could have done. The only thing around it would be if Nissan released and updated cord that comes from the ipod box to the ipod (iphone) or we would have to purchase a whole new kit (if nissan releases one) that uses the USB pins in the dock connector to charge instead of the Firewire.

While I love my iphone, Apple is really full of **** with this *Cheaper, more affordable* iphone. How in the world is it cheaper when the monthly service rates went up, you now have to buy a dock separately, and 90% of the old accessories that used to work with the old iphone no longer work with the new iphone? I have several old chargers that are now useless because they simply won't charge the new iphone. So now I have to buy new chargers to accommodate my new phone. What are we supposed to do Apple, buy a new car to accommodate my new iphone as well?
