Hey. what do you guys think about this?

I was planning on getting this at a great price. I dont care much for DVD just as long as it plays MP3 CD's and Ipod. Do you think its worth it? or should i go with a D3? any other DD HU thats pretty good out there?

 

I was looking at the 900FBT but once I heard about all the bad reviews I went with the Kenwood DNX8120. List is $1600 but I got it from 6ave.com with a coupon for $1049 shipped. I think the coupon expired on 7/22 but I'm sure there are more out there. Has Garmin nav, great Ipod interface, XM radio, traffic, weather, HD radio, steering wheel controls, and plays DVDs plus back up camera. Got it all for about $1700 installed. A little more expensive but well worth it. Very happy!

 

Pioneer fixed all the problems with an update. but they are available close to in the mid $500's.

 

get the f900bt...

 

I love my f900bt. It's definitely not perfect and needs a number of issues fixed, but it's great after the firmware update.

 

Its a bit slow. Response time can be bad at times. Sometimes its good. Startup takes about a minute or so. Other than that, its a great unit.
