I'm looking out there for a Nav head unit that has the break away video feature, or a feature that allows you to switch to your Aux composite inputs without interrupting music play from CD, ipod, or radio. I already know that the Alpines can do it, I'm hoping that the Eclipse Nav units or the Pioneer Z2/z3, or the kenwood nan units can possibly do it. Can anyone confirm this with specific model numbers? I've already been told by another member that the Pioneer F series is not able to do it.

 

My old Kenwood DNX-7017 can do it. When one source is playing audio, it can switch to different video sources such as navigation and rear camera or game.
