The factory battery should be fine.

With 4AWG wire, I'd keep the length as short as possible. At full load (100 amps), you could have as much as an 8% voltage drop with 20 feet of cable. Reducing that to 10 feet would reduce the loss to 4%. With 0AWG, you'll see 1-3% loss depending on length.

However, you're unlikely to pull 100 amps for an extended period of time, if at all. So, actual loss will be lower.

4 gauge as stated is fine. Only thing I can add as running a full wire run from the battery's negative to the amplifier ground rather than a wire grounded from the amp to the chassis. Reason for this is that current follow the path of least resistance. A direct connection to the battery is best as opposed to the chassis since there are paint and other metals which may not be as good of a conductor as the direct battery to amp via wire. Make sure you are using copper wire, not something like aluminum.

Ouch, that is a rip off. Check into the Kicker PKD4 (4 gauge kit) on eBay, it's roughly $60. The PKD1 is about $100 on eBay, and that's the 1/0 kit. Good luck with the install!
