Positive battery terminal hookups suppose to look like this?

Positive battery terminal hookups suppose to look like this?

Hey guys does everyone elses positive terminal have a open bolt like mine? Also what is that white plastic piece attached above it on the side for?

The open stud is normal. The corrosion on your battery terminals is not normal and should be cleaned ASAP. The white plastic piece is a support for the battery cover.

Remember to clean the battery with baking soda and distilled water. Just mix the baking soda with water intil it looks like toothpaste. The baking soda going to help neutralize any battery acid.

You seem to have a few mods on the car. Please clean that battery up. It looks like that is an old GM car or something with the condition of the battery. Dont you have the plasic cover for it??

^^LOL i know!! Im very embarrassed. I do have all the covers, i just took them off to install the power wire for my amp and figured i would ask about the other stuff. I will clean Betsy up a little later. Shes more of a Tomboy.
