Add-On Dual Climate Control

I've got an '05 G coupe. Its the base model without the Dual Climate Control, homelink or auto-lights.

Is it possible to add the Dual Climate Control by adding the button and switch as is the case with the Double-Din install? I was hoping to solder the LED and switch and snap in the button.

Any thoughts? I've searched but got nothing

Thanks

don't you think there's more to the dual climate system other than a button. If that was the case, it'd cost infiniti less to just make it standard. I'm sure there some mechanical difference in the baffles the AC system uses to be able to blow air at different temps in two zones.

I looked through trademotion.com and the only difference I could find is the dash control unit that is different for non-prem and prem Gs.

Mechanical Catalog - 2006 - Infiniti - G35
Hvac, Controls, Controls, Dash control unit, Dash control unit, g35, w/premium pkg. $295.68

jsut thinking in order to use DCC contral especially if you have a chilly all the time gal you would need two of everything (ac/heat) cause with a 70/85 split its a lil more than adding in a lil engine temp! just a thought!

That explains it...no gal in the 4 months I've had the G. I rarely use the HVAC at all. Only when raining and windows cant be open. For cold I use Heated seats.

its a completely different system, its not going to work. This question is like asking "Can I get Bose sound by sticking Bose emblem on my speaker covers?"
