'03 Sedan Antenna Question

I've got an aftermarket Sirius receiver. I've been using it through my stock FM radio. The reception is terrible. I've tried a new Sirius receiver and it's not much better. Sirius offers a direct connect cable that will go to the back of the radio where the antenna plugs in. I've looked at videos on removing the radio and I have no interest in going through that process just to reach the back of the radio to attach the wire to the antenna lead.

Question.... Is there an easy way to reach the back of the radio to simply unplug the antenna wire and attach the Sirius wire to it?

Thanks for your help.

There is no easy way to get to the back of the radio.

when you do get back there, you will not find a standard antenna jack either. Nissan uses a diversity antenna with two prongs that won't work with a regular jack.

I don't know if there is an adapter for your needs.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll continue to put up with poor reception.

Dont be afraid of the radio. Most were a little uneasy the first time but its not that bad. Get in there and rip that baby out and that SAT hooked up.
