My friend and I are currently fabricating a box the 03-04 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. We are fusing fiberglass molds to build multiple enclosures for the dodge guys online. Since I own a coupe I was thinking of building a sub enclosure in the trunk that could be copied using molds. I was planing to take a mold of the left side of the trunk, where that indention is above the factory Bose amp. The box would be for one 10" sub woofer in a sealed enclosure. You would be able to pull the box in and out of the car using quick disconnect connectors, if you needed the trunk space. The enclosure could be covered in carpet, vinyl, or suede, in many colors. No drilling or cutting is required, just hook the speaker leads up to your amp and go. It would take up to one week to complete one box, depending on the finishing materials you choose. I am doing this part time so I this is the time frame that I think is reasonable. I have 12 years experience in the car audio industry and I have built multiple IASCA and USAC world championship cars. This box would be very easy to build. Prices are not yet figured. They will be cheaper than that other two letter company that builds similar boxes. Let me know if this interests you.

This is one of those things where you need to just make the first one... and then explain it to everyone, with pictures and prices.

You could become a millionaire selling things like this, but you have to take the time up front or you aren't going to get any specific requests from people.

The G35 is one of the best selling cars in the past few years... and we all know the Bose system sucks.

Build it, and they will come.

Here's a pic of one I just built. It's the 1st enclosure I've ever made, and by no means is it a masterpiece. It is however stealth, air tight (sealed w/ fiberglass resin), and it's at the shop right now being hooked up to a Fosgate 600W 2 channel amp. The sub is just a 500W pioneer I picked up for $50. Wasn't lookng to blow the windows out, just wanted to add some much needed base while not losing any precious trunk real estate.
