hi, i have an MTX thunder amp and based on what i know it does not accept balanced input. I am going to try to install it staight into the lines coming form the HU and see how it goes as some amps still sound fine without the LOC. Just incase i do need the LOC how exactly do you install one? Instead of splicing the RCA wire into the HU wires would you just splice in the LOC then attach that to the RCA wire? Or does the LOC attach directly to the back of the HU?
