Hey, I am about to buy a JL CLS110RG-W7 enclosure for my 04 g35 coupe. I wanted to know if it'll fit in my trunk?

The measurements are 17-7/8"W x 14-3/4"H x 16-3/4"D (18-9/16"D with grille). Will that fit through the trunk opening and sit upright in the trunk? Time to break out the tape measure.

 

The height is the issue with the coupe. To get it under our ledge and pushed back to the back of the seat, you are looking at around 11".

If you dont mind it sticking into your trunk where you can't fit anything other than the sub box, you should be ok.

I built a custom box for a 10w7 ...ported...and it was:
H = 11”
D = 13.75”
W = 27”

Port = 2.0”

Extension = 7.5”

...and this BARELY fit under the ledge. It sounds great though, and after a custom molding to cover and protect the JL, I am JUST able to fit in my clubs

That's all I care about anyways
