Need help in in regards to 03 Sedan CD changer??

I'm getting the infamous Error F0 message and am out of warranty so will be fixing the problem on my own. Can I just swap out the CD changer instead of changing everything?? Can I use a CD Changer from any year G35?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Its for an 03 Sedan with the Bose stereo.

You need an 03-04 Bose HU and you can swap it out for your broken unit. 05-07 HUs won't work neither will non-Bose HUs.

this is what I need to clarify. Was thinking of buying just the BOSE head unit out of an 04 coupe, need to make sure it works first. How can you tell other than the button placement. Is the button placement only an issue if you are replacing everthing including the circuit board??

button placement will be the easiest way.
another way is how the CD player looks itself.
the cd slots looks a bit different.
"older" ones have a smaller cd slot with black "doors" on it.
"newer" ones have a bigger opening with no "doors".
The doors are actually built in on the faceplate on the newer ones (plastic doors)
older ones don't have the "door" built-in on the faceplate, it just has felt (the door is on the cd unit
