If your car has a warranty, they will be replaced for free. Otherwise, you need 2 ohm speakers.

Infinity has a lot of 2ohm speakers if you're having trouble finding them. Crutchfield has excellent data on speakers they sell and have great service and support. They will also tell you what speakers you need and what will work in the car.

One thing to note is that you should buy speaker spacers (1" MDF) because the stock speakers stick out an inch from the sheet metal. You can buy ones specific for the G35 from ebay. Look up G35 speaker spacer. A seller named zenclosures should have them. The spacers move the speaker up right to the grille which have a foam surround on it so that you don't lose any sound in the door panel.

Because crutchfield assumes you're mounting the speakers right on the door with the cheap thin plastic adapter rings they send you, some speakers that Crutchfield doesn't approve should actually be OK. In fact, the front doors can hold pretty much any 6.5" driver. The back has a little less clearance, but it's somewhere at around 2.5" mounting depth if you use the 1" spacer.

Just a woofer. The rear side speakers are full range, but 1 way. The front speakers are the only 2 ways.
