So I'm also having excessive battery drain issues with my Bose HU in my 03 coupe. I have read a lot of posts and found out that something in the circuit board is not turning off the amp. Has anyone just tried to hook up some kind of toggle switch spliced into the remote amp turn on wire? Where would be the best place to run a switch without having to remove the HU? I'm not ready to go the DD route just yet and I just got a quote of $295 to repair the Bose HU.
