hey guys, here is my dilema: i have an 03 coupe w/ bose. a while back my bose busted and i replaced used from here w/ what i now think was from the slightly different 04 bose version. i bought a used one off someone w/ the ac panel.

when i had changed this a year ago i kept my trim/ac piece and just swapped the actual CD player. this solved my CD ERROR problem.

well now it crapped out again (the whole thing now, CD, AC and all). the dealership says i need a new motherboard, as well as CD changer.

my question is, when i look at the trim/ac piece that i had bought a while back and never installed it appears to be the slightly different 04 kit (CD, radio, etc buttons are slightly lower in orientation to the CD slot).

so if there are differences and not compatable how have i been running the 03 trim/ac piece w/ the 04 bose deck????
