dual button resistor

so where exactly is the resistor that is needed for the dual button so the light isn't so bright? yes, i searched and read the sticky "this is the reason why you need the jdm ac controller" and i can see the resistor in those pix but my jdm ac controller doesn't have it, and i don't know which one to use off of the oem one? or does somebody know the amount of resistance? here's a pic of the oem one - i've circled in blue where the dual button and led is.. thanks.

Take a picture of the backside, the resistor could be there. Easy way to find out which resistor it is would be to use a multimeter and check continuity from one end of the LED to the resistor you think it might be. Just probe around till you find it. You could check the thread from accordfreak where he changed the color of the dash lights also.
