Pioneer AVIC-Z3 with pictures!
im extremely happy with my new avic-z3.. f1 audio did a good job of installing it too... i highly recommend this unit to anybody looking to update the crappy stereo display that comes with our car.. my only regret is not doing this sooner

forgot to mention, there is an ipod cable in the cubby above the head unit which not only charges your ipod but will play music from it.
also, f1 did a great job of hiding the gps antenna... can't see it anywhere... it's not on the dash like i've seen on some installs.. its completely hidden

the avic-z3 is $1268 on amazon right now... the double din kit - finisher/ac controller was $285.. installation depends on what all you have them do, for example rear camera, ipod adapter, bluetooth, tv tuner, xm/sirius, etc...
it's so worth it... like i said i really wish i didn't wait 2.5 years to do this!
Looks very nice. DD makes the interior look so much nicer and now practical. Nice Nismo **** too.

So you just brought in all the parts and have them install it?
Did they already knew exactly how to do the drive & play-dvd hack, or did you had to bring in some sort of DIY write-up? Is the DD kit that complete JDM kit (w/ the dual climate buttons) from Riverside Infiniti? Also what about the steering wheel buttons, they work?

you kno you can get the z3 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than that now. used one can be bought for $400
