car audio system questions
Wsup guys, ive been on this site reading like crazy in the audio section. Im getting a 03 g35 coupe in the first week of november and the first thing im looking to do is put in a whole new audio system. My budget is 2500 - 3000 for everything installed. Let me know what u guys think of this
Headunit - Pioneer, Alpine or Kenwood.. Double Din With big screen
Subs - Image Dynamics 2 10" MAX Dual 2 Ohm Subwoofer
Box - 2 4080 enclouser (driver and passenger)
Amps - Im looking for a mono around 1000- 1200 watt amp. Something that can push out a lot of bass. Also 4 channel 450 watt for speakers.
Speakers - Dont know much about speakers but been reading alot about the Image Dynamics 6.5 componet speakers.
Rear speakers -??? dont know
Sound deading the car as well.
Basically im looking for something that has a lot of bass but also sounds nice at the same time. Let me know what you guys think.. I need to know what kind of amp and speakers to get but gotta stay around a budget of 3 grand

ANY MB Quart speakers will give you crisp sound.. Personally, I like to add 6x9's even if your adding a sub but you can go with rear fill instead and just take out the stock bose 6x9's.. some people even go with one pair of speakers and leave rear disconnected (which sounds really bad to me) but everyone has their own opinions..

Are You counting cost of equipment AND install? You'll pay More than 3G on your DD, Amps, Seperates, Subs, 4080 boxes, Sound deadner, Wires, cables, ETC. Maybe If You bought all used on Ebay..... Well Good Luck!

These 3 alone would cost you about $2400 not including modification of the 4080 box or the DD Finisher. Also if you want navi you looking at $2800 minimum.
Amps will run you another $1100.. Speakers will be $$$ if you want medium quality. There is no way you can get that setup for the price range you want. This will cost you about $5000 with install depending on components..
