I am looking for SQ...something that hits tight...not boomy.
I'm running an Audison Srx 5. I was looking at getting a 10" G5 with the dual voice coil and run it at 2ohms from the amp(roughly 280W to 300W).
The fronts and rear fill, I'll run at 4ohms...about 50W per channel X4.
Maybe put it into a 4080 box???

Wait, you said your sub is dual 2 right? And amp is 4 ohms? If that's the case, you're fine. You can use it, because you have to wire the two coils together and you can do it either in parallel at 1 ohm, or in series at 4 ohms. Here is a wiring diagram.

Thats why I wanted to see if I could run a 2ohm sub...the amp would be more efficient that way.
..and yes the sub would be a dual voice coil for more flexability further down the line.

they use fuses to change the impedance...
