you don't need it with an older iphone.

Anybody else just a little butthurt that apple changed the way the 3g iphones and 4th gen nanos charge so they killed charging on 3rd party devices and adapters so now we have to purchase an adapter for another 25 to 40 bucks and have it hanging off the device'sass to charge?
