Locking doors causes horn to go off continously

On Saturday afternoon I got out of my car, shut the door, and used my keyless entry to lock the doors. As soon as I did that my horn went off. Not on and then off, but just a long solid outburst. I had to unlock the car, and stick my key in the ignition and turn it for it to go off. I repeated a couple times and the horn would always go off. I get around this I would have to push the door lock button on the remote when the driver door was open to avoid the horn honking.

Later that evening, when I tried the workaround, pushing the button with the driver door open, the horn did not go off, as expected, but I noticed when I was walking away that my break lights and the parking lights next to my head lights were on. This time I had to open the door, put the keys in the ignition which turned all the lights off and to keep them off I locked the doors with the button in the car.

Even stranger is that as of Sunday, everything was fine. I called my local dealer and as usual they were completely useless and said wait until it happens again and then try and bring it in while they can recreate it. (At least they are consistently worthless!)

I have 04 G35 Coupe manual with about 30K. Never had any previous issues.

1. Anybody ever seen this before?
2. Any additional ways I can try and troubleshoot?

Thanks,
Shahin

um i'm confused, the horn going off for a split second the second you hit the lock button on your keyless entry is completely natural.

normaly if you wish to shut off the horn feature you hold down the lock button for 10 seconds and the lights will flash. same to turn them back on except you will hear the horn chime.

best i can do.

No, it's not just a short honk. The horn blows until I put my keys in the ignition.

do you still have a warranty on yours or anything?
take it to the dealer

or

if the honk just doesnt really matter to you then shut it off by holding down the button i suppose.

I have the same problem today. On top of that, my car battery died from this. Anyone ever see this before. There is another thread that talks about it on here but there is never any good solution or knowledge about what causes this to happen.
