Has it arrived? If so have you tried it on your iPhone 3G? Want to make sure it works as advertised.

Thanks

I bought a different 1 from an European company that didn't work. I really don't need it except to charge my phone while listening to the music I have load on it. I made up a hardwire power/charge adapter from a Griffen Power Jolt and it works great.

Just picked one up from the Apple Store (in Bethesda, MD)for $25 instead of the MSRP of $30 as its being sold online. Works like a charm. Charges and plays music.

Yes. It does everything the same except now it also charges the phone.

Also plays video.....
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my Kenwood DDX 812 deck now plays videos off of my iPhone once I got this adapter. Sweet!

The only thing I don't like about the adapter is that it seems to detach from my iPhone pretty easily. I do have it just sitting in my glove compartment, so maybe I need to install some kind of mount to keep it stable. Otherwise, can't complete. Definitely by it from the Apple Store as it is much cheaper.....
