No cutting or drilling at all for this enclosure install. Drop your sub in, run your speaker wire, and stick some velcro in key areas and you are ready to rock. We took a mold of the trunk, that is how we got the enclosure fit so well. So when you sell you G35 just make sure you have at least 10 seconds set aside to take your sub and box out.

Re: Pics of the coupe box!
I will possibly end up mounting a four channel amp under the rear deck. 2 channels running some KEF speakers in kickpanels and the other 2 channels powering my 10" sub. We are toying with the idea of making a amp rack for the pass. side. This would be easy to duplicate if everyone used the same amp. Since this does not happen it probably will not happen.

For those of you who are going for the "stealth" look, I mounted my amp on top of the Bose amp. its elevated a little with brackets and mounted right over the stock amp. I was worried about heat initially but neither amp has shutdown and Ive been on a few long rides. To help dissipate heat we drilled some vent holes in the plastic cover.

I was also thinking of this location. I wanted to see if there was some trunk vents in the trunk. You know those vents that releave pressure when you close the trunk. If so then I was going to mount a fan to draw air from the amp through a duct out throught the vent. I just get nervous mounting an amp in a zero ventelated area.

I was also worried and wouldve mounted a fan if it was necessary. I live in Hawaii where its always hot and I have never had a heat related issue. Ive taken the car around the island and the amps never cut out. Im looking forward to the final pics of your box and will be on the list of buyers.
