I'm using the complete stock Bose right now. I don't have that issue, but maybe some things are different? I have bass on +2 or +3, Trebble on +5, and fade on +2. I have to have some sort of "frontstage". I'd shift the balance over to +3 but then I'd be losing power rather than aligning it.

I dislike the 08 sedan setup. I find it to have great midbass, but once you start cranking it, it sounds like crap.

23 (max in my 03.5 is 30) - any more and it begins to distort.

off subject: quick question about the stereo, when i listen to the radio, i have to put the volume at a higher level for it to sound the same as a CD, is that on every car? or is it just the recording volume of the CD?

on subject: i usually listen on 13 for CD's and 15 for radio

on the stock bose anything higher than 22 the amp rolls off the bass significantly, to the point it's not worth it.

22 for me until I replace the amp.

I am usually between 15- 23. Usually depends on where I am and what song is playing
