Well, I really want the space and I don't want to remove the spare tire or anything else, so I'm thinking a single 10". BTW, I have a US Acoustics USX 600F amp from my previous car, 600w x 1 bridged

I kept my spare and have 2 10" w6 and can still fit my golf bag and 3 bags of groceries, maybe 4...but no eggs... they'll break.

I've been looking at the Elemental Designs K series, Phoenix Gold TI 10, the CDT Audio HD-1020, and the IDQ 10. Anyone have experience with these subs?

I have 2 Phoenix Gold Ti10's in my closet waiting to be installed. They're great subs for the money.

Re: will 2 10"s fit in the trunk of a coupe?

We just finished an all JL Audio system headed by an AVIC for TLUV's G with two 8's in a box mounted under the rear deck playing through the stock 6x9 grills. Looks very stealth from inside. That gives you your full depth and length trunk. You just loose height under the deck. Also two 8s playing directly into the cabin like that rock and you don't loose any sound quality. Hopefully we will have some photos to post up soon.

Do you hear me?

now that's what I've been waiting for!
please post more details about mounting 2x8"s in the rear deck! is the deck strong enough to support proper enclosures? or did you have to do alot of modifications etc?

please start a new thread about this!

Re: will 2 10"s fit in the trunk of a coupe?

There is cutting of the deck involved but just enought to make room for the 8's. Structurally there is enough suport for the hanging box too. As soon as TLUV emails me some photos I will start a new post. But if you are in SoCal and you want to see and hear the two eights, go to the GTG in Brea this Saturday.

Do you hear me?
